Ya, Blogger and Picasa isn't Google's Product, but Google acquisition Blogger and Picasa.
Start from Picasa, Picasa first is a product of Idealab, and Picasa is a paid photos hosting, but Google acquisition Picasa at 2004, and made Picasa as a Free Photos Hosting. So, why Google didn't change Picasa names in 2004? The answer, maybe Picasa names is familiar for all people than Google Photos, so Google kept Picasa names in 2004, and didn't change Picasa names.
Blogger, same as Picasa, in the first time Blogger is a Paid Blog Hosting. Google acquisition Blogger from Pyralab at 2002, and made Blogger as a Free Blog Hosting. Why Google didn't change Blogger names at 2002? Same as Picasa, Blogger names is familiar for all people, so Google kept Blogger names too.
But I have 1 question. Will Youtube change name to Google videos?
